What I love most about working at RISE is the mix of brainpower and good vibes. I get to work with smart, driven people who are also genuinely kind—and who somehow make spreadsheets and deadlines feel like a team sport. There’s a real sense of purpose here, and plenty of laughter in between the to-do lists.
Also, it doesn’t hurt that one of the bosses has a serious Costco habit—our break room is basically a snack lover’s dream. He’s a total foodie, so the office kitchen is decked out with every appliance imaginable (yes, even a pizza maker). Team lunches here are on a whole other level.
Outside of work, I’ve gotten into playing pickleball—it’s a fun mix of competition and chaos that I really enjoy. I also stay busy being a proud football mom. My 10-year-old son is all about the game, so most weekends you’ll find me cheering from the sidelines, snacks in hand. I’ve fully embraced the football mom life—and I think I’ve got plenty more seasons ahead of me!
I have two cats—Luna and George—who keep things entertaining at home with their big personalities and sibling antics. We also have seven chickens who add a little farm charm to our daily routine (and fresh eggs, too!). One of my favorite travel destinations is the country of Georgia—its rich history, stunning landscapes, and incredible hospitality made it an unforgettable experience.
I once tried surfing, got immediately knocked over by the tiniest wave imaginable, and still proudly say I “sort of surfed.” Technically, I stood on the board for about three seconds—which absolutely counts in my book!
Time travel—for sure. The idea of jumping through centuries, experiencing the world in different eras, and maybe even getting a sneak peek into the future? Count me in. I’d love to witness historic moments firsthand, meet the legends we only read about, and maybe warn myself not to buy that one questionable outfit in 2009.
I keep it simple—just plain black coffee, no frills. For a quick pick-me-up, dark chocolate almonds are my go-to.
I wouldn’t say I’ve had any truly unusual jobs, but I’ve definitely had a colorful mix! From babysitting and bartending to retail gigs during my college years—I’ve worn quite a few hats before officially committing to the world of accounting. Each one taught me something valuable (especially how to multitask like a pro!).
I really want to learn to play the piano. The only catch? I have no musical background, can’t sing, and definitely don’t have a musical ear. But I’d be thrilled just to master Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star without totally butchering it. Baby steps, right?
